Blog-hop Friday!!

hairhappy

Hello everyone! Another weekend!!! *Hits dougie EXTRA hard* So this week, I tried making a batch of flaxseed gel! This is actually my second attempt of flaxseed gel. The first one was a complete fail because I overused the essential oils! The smell was SO STRONG. I didn’t add any essential oils this time. All I did was boil the flaxseeds in water, separate them from the gel, then add some Monoi De Tahiti oil (I’m fancy y’all! lol). The Monoi oil has a really great smell, and that was all the fragrance I needed! Here’s what my final mixture looked like.

Those little white dots are the Monoi oil. I guess I should’ve taken into account that it’s a solid at room temperature. LOL! My hair seems to really love it though, look at the twists!

I can’t wait to see my twist-out this weekend! Okay, enough rambling, on to the blog-hop! If this is your first time participating, just read the instructions below!

To Participate:

2. Add the URL of the post (not the URL for your blog homepage) you want others to see, and the name of your blog (or the chosen post).

Blog-Hop Friday!!

hairhappy

Hello everyone! Again, you don’t know HOW happy I am it’s Friday! If you haven’t noticed, I live for the weekend! As usual, I’m trying something new, and since I love all things Ayurveda, I was so excited to see that an expert on ayurvedic medicine was on the Dr. Oz show this week! Of course, I watched all the clips, then went on the website and read all of the articles the expert ever submitted, and I came across this one! It’s about using ayurvedic herbs to detox the body! Don’t ask me why I’m so obsessed with detoxing (you may remember the hair detox incident), but I am, and I’m going to be trying the detox tea this morning! Wish me luck! I’m sure there will be many tweets about it. LOL!
