Blog-hop Friday!!
Hello everyone! Another weekend!!! *Hits dougie EXTRA hard* So this week, I tried making a batch of flaxseed gel! This is actually my second attempt of flaxseed gel. The first one was a complete fail because I overused the essential oils! The smell was SO STRONG. I didn’t add any essential oils this time. All I did was boil the flaxseeds in water, separate them from the gel, then add some Monoi De Tahiti oil (I’m fancy y’all! lol). The Monoi oil has a really great smell, and that was all the fragrance I needed! Here’s what my final mixture looked like.
Those little white dots are the Monoi oil. I guess I should’ve taken into account that it’s a solid at room temperature. LOL! My hair seems to really love it though, look at the twists!
I can’t wait to see my twist-out this weekend! Okay, enough rambling, on to the blog-hop! If this is your first time participating, just read the instructions below!
To Participate:
1. Click the blue frog link
2. Add the URL of the post (not the URL for your blog homepage) you want others to see, and the name of your blog (or the chosen post).
3. Click the ‘Get the InLinkz Code’ button. You will be taken to a page with HTML codes (don’t worry, it’s easy!). Choose the code that’s right for you (code 1 for a page that accepts scripts: Blogger pages, or self-hosted WordPress pages for example. Codes 2 or 3 for regular WordPress pages and others that don’t accept scripts.)
4. Simply copy and paste your code into the blog post you chose earlier! (in HTML mode). This will let everyone know you’re participating in the blog-hop!
You’re done! Your blog picture and title will show up in the blog-hop collection, and readers can click on your picture to be directed to your page! The blog-hop collection will be open until 20 people join. After 20, the collection will close. Readers may still click on your links, but no new links will be added. Have fun everyone, and have a great weekend!
Blog-Hop Friday!!
Hello everyone! Again, you don’t know HOW happy I am it’s Friday! If you haven’t noticed, I live for the weekend! As usual, I’m trying something new, and since I love all things Ayurveda, I was so excited to see that an expert on ayurvedic medicine was on the Dr. Oz show this week! Of course, I watched all the clips, then went on the website and read all of the articles the expert ever submitted, and I came across this one! It’s about using ayurvedic herbs to detox the body! Don’t ask me why I’m so obsessed with detoxing (you may remember the hair detox incident), but I am, and I’m going to be trying the detox tea this morning! Wish me luck! I’m sure there will be many tweets about it. LOL!
